This medium sized Bradford Pear bowl exhibits a bit of spalting.  However, the highlight of this piece is the flame figuring that extends rim to rim and shimmers as light moves across the inner surface, an effect accentuated by the outward slope of the sides.  The wood was sourced in Cleveland County, AR, and the bowl is simply polished with carnauba wax.
