The shape of this bowl is inspired by the gravity well diagram of a celestial black hole.  The gorgeous swirling, colored grain adds to the effect while the pronounced wave to the naturally warped rim seems to add a ripple in the laws of physics.  Danish Oil and carnauba wax give this bowl a soft matte finish.
