This exquisite piece is derived from a rare, large piece of spalted maple from Shelby County, TN.  The mid-century modern styling excentuates the natural beauty of the wood.  The sides are uniformly thin from rim to base giving a sense of delicacy to the work.  It is finished in Tung Oil Finish and lightly polished with carnauba wax.  This piece deserves to be the centerpiece on a formal dining table or credenza.
