The prominent grain of red oak and the color differences in heartwood and sapwood are apperent in this artistically shaped bowl.  The bowl has a few interesting beetle tracks which are filled with sawdust and CA glue, and it is slightly oval from the effects of drying.  The wood was sourced in Lincoln County, AR following severe storms and the bowl is finished in Danish Oil and polished with carnauba wax.
