This hand-crafted bowl is turned from Bradford pear, a colorful, dense wood ornamental tree.  The wood was sourced near Memphis, TN.  This bowl has a very slight bow to the rim and is finished in Tung Oil Finish and polished with carnauba wax.  It features pronounced flame figuring in both appearance and texture on the rim and across the bottom.
