This artistically designed Bradford Pear bowl shows flame figuring on one side of the rim.  Bradford Pear wood is very dense and smooth.  The wood was sourced in Germantown, TN from a landscaping project.  The exterior was dyed with a cinnamon water-based dye stain from General Finishes; the interior is natural finish.  The entire bowl was then finished in multiple coats of Tung Oil Finish and polished with carnauba wax.  This piece just invites guests to pick it up and explore its contours, colors and grain patterns.
