Elm produces a very solid, sturdy bowl.  Several features make this bowl unique and attractive: the dark heartwood sections along the rim, the concave contours along the top edge of the rim and under the rim on the outer surface, and the prominent, shimmery grain pattern inside the bowl.  The elm was sourced in Cleveland County, AR and the bowl is finished in Tung Oil Finish and polished with carnauba wax.
