This artistically designed Bradford Pear bowl shows beautiful flame figuring on the rim and interior.  Notice how the grain pattern orbits the perfectly centered opening.  Bradford Pear wood is very dense and smooth.  The wood was sourced in Germantown, TN from a landscaping project.  The bowl was dyed with a cinnamon water-based dye stain from General Finishes and then finished in multiple coats of Tung Oil Finish and polished with carnauba wax.  This piece just invites guests to pick it up and explore its contours, rich color and grain patterns.
