The area where a tree branches develops a unique feathered grain pattern that is displayed prominently in the bottom of this Bradford Pear bowl.  The bowl also features a bit of bark from the live edge, flame grain patterns, a cup to the rim from drying, and a set of small carved feet that allow the bowl to sit flat.  Its size and thickness give the bowl a nice feel.  The bowl is turned from wood sourced in Germantown, TN and is finished in Danish Oil and polished with carnauba wax.
