This medium size ash bowl really shows off the natural blonde tone of the wood and the prominent grain that is perfectly centered in the bottom of the bowl.  The foot sets off the modern curve of the sides.  The wood was sourced in the artist's back yard in West Tennessee after storms damaged a green ash tree.  It is finised in Tung Oil Finish and polished with carnauba wax.  This bowl would be ideal for holding your favorite potpourri or decorative bowl fillers.
