This unique, decorative plate was cut from a branching section of a Bradford Pear tree recovered in Cleveland County, AR.  It features a live edge (bark removed) along the entire rim and a highly figured area characteristic of branching.  The split in the branching was naturally formed as the tree grew and enclosed bark from the individual limbs.  The natural split is stable and non-spreading.  The soft luster comes from the Tung Oil Finish and carnauba wax polishing.
