This artistically designed Bradford Pear bowl displays flame figuring on the rim.  You can even feel the figuring in the texture.  This Bradford Pear wood is very dense and smooth and was sourced near Memphis, TN.  The exterior is amber and the interior is cinnamon, both having been dyed with water-based dye stain from General Finishes.  The bowl was then finished in multiple coats of Tung Oil Finish and polished with carnauba wax.  You have to hold this unique bowl in the light to appreciate the luster of the figuring and grain on the rim.
